CB is Toronto's hottest, longest running and most-loved monthly women’s/queer party (voted "Best Club Event for Women" in Xtra magazine’s 'Best of Toronto' several years running). Cherry Bomb is all about inclusivity, positivity, unity and FUN!
CHERRY BOMB is also the dynamic promotional force and queer DJ dream team of COZMIC CAT and DENISE BENSON, two party-rockers with decades of experience on the decks between them. The duo brings their talents to the tables and are notorious for dropping diverse, high-voltage sets of house, funk, hiphop, disco, pop, dancehall, reggaeton, Bass, synths, indie pop and other dancefloor burners all mixed, mashed and played with love.
DJ, music journalist and author DENISE BENSON has long mixed beats, words and ideas. A party-rocker with an ear for the underground, Denise has produced and played at many celebrated club residencies, like Dyke Nite, S.H.E., Glide, Synchro and, of course, Cherry Bomb. Denise is also the author of Then & Now: Toronto Nightlife History (Three O’Clock Press). She loves bass and melody., and recently produced a Queer docuseries called OUTRAVE on REVRY TV
COZMIC CAT is a versatile, full time professional DJ in Toronto and beyond . She is also a talented producer and record label owner who has had her music signed licensed for global dance music labels, films, documentaries, ad campaigns, apps and more. Her music has received support from heavy hitters like Sam Divine, Roger Sanchez, Claptone, and David Guetta. As a DJ she knows how to read and reach any crowd, dropping an eclectic, high energy mix that takes you on a journey, from the underground to the latest club flavors. She is one of 10 winners of the Global Future Talent Awards for 2023 by the Pete Tong Dj Academy. Her Dj skills have taken her from Ibiza, to South Africa and back again. Back home, she can be found at venues including Toronto Pride Festival, CODA, Electric Island and More
Cherry Bomb is 19+ Everyone must provide Go'vt approved ID. Our Security Team is sensitive to those whos gender identity does not match their photos and have worked with the queer and trans communities for many years.
